Step 1: Draw two simple closed eyes on a regular marshmallow using a black edible marker. Keep the lines soft and curved for a sweet expression.

Step 2: Cut a mini marshmallow in half on the diagonal to form ear shapes. Dip the cut ends into pink sugar sprinkles so the inner ear is colored.

Step 3: Melt the white candy melts according to package instructions. Use the melted coating as edible glue to attach the mini marshmallow ears to the top of the marshmallow head.

Step 4: Attach flower sprinkles and other small candy decorations to the top of the marshmallow head with a dab of melted candy coating to create the unicorn’s floral mane.

Step 5: Roll white fondant into two thin sausage shapes. Taper one end of each piece so they can be joined and twisted into a horn shape.

Step 6: Pinch the tapered ends together, then twist the fondant ropes around each other to form a spiral horn. Let the horn dry completely so it keeps its shape.

Step 7: Once dry, spray the fondant horn with gold food coloring mist for a metallic finish.

Step 8: Use melted candy coating to attach the gold horn to the top center of the marshmallow head.

Step 9: Insert a toothpick into the bottom of the marshmallow unicorn head. Push it in far enough to be secure but not all the way through.

Step 10: Turn a cupcake wrapper upside down and slide it over the toothpick until it meets the bottom of the marshmallow head—this forms the frilly base of the cake pop.

Step 11: Place the assembled marshmallow unicorn head onto the top center of a Little Debbie Unicorn Cake, pressing gently so the toothpick anchors into the cake for stability.

Step 12: Adjust any decorations as needed. Add extra sprinkles or candy accents to the wrapper or mane for a personalized look.
