Saturday Sangria

Yield: serves 2-4

Saturday Sangria

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle chilled white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio work well)
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur
  • 2 peaches, sliced
  • 4 strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 orange, juiced
  • 1/2 orange, sliced

Directions:

  1. In a large pitcher or carafe, combine the chilled white wine and orange liqueur.
  2. Add the sliced peaches, strawberries, and the juice from half an orange; stir gently to combine.
  3. Add the orange slices, cover, and chill for about an hour to allow the fruit to infuse the wine.
  4. Serve over ice on a hot, sunny afternoon. Garnish with additional fruit if desired.
