How to Make Berry S’mores

S’mores are a year-round favorite in our house — easy, fun, and kid-approved. When the weather allows, we toast marshmallows over a fire pit. In colder months we use the stove top or even the microwave when needed.

Before roasting, set up your ingredients so assembly is quick. Break graham crackers in half and place a piece of chocolate on each bottom half. Arrange the berries in a bowl nearby. The goal is to get the warm marshmallow straight onto the chocolate so it melts slightly.

Roast each marshmallow to your preferred level of toastiness, slide it carefully onto the chocolate-topped cracker, add a few fresh berries, and top with the second cracker. Serve immediately while everything is warm and gooey.

Berry S’mores Recipe FAQs

Can I use frozen berries?

Frozen berries release extra moisture and change texture, so fresh berries are recommended for best results.

Can I use jam instead of fresh berries?

Yes. Spread your favorite jam on one half of the graham cracker and place the chocolate on the other half for a quick alternative.
